is the capital of the Corinthian order. Based on the proportions of a maiden, in
reality the Corinthian order was somewhere between the Doric and Ionic Orders.
It is the most decorative and elaborate type of Greek architecture.
Because this style of architecture came late in Greek history, few Greek temples
were built in this style. However, it was a favorite Order of the Romans
who borrowed it from the Greeks and used it very often.
