Credits and Bibliography

This project is to fulfill the requirements of a 2007 Fulbright Hays Seminar to China which focused on History and Culture. I would like to thank the Fulbright Commission, the National Committee on US-China Relations, and the Department of Education for making it possible. I would also like to thank Dr. John Erni of Lingnan University in Hong Kong for sharing with me some of his research in the form of an unpublished draft called "Enchanted: Harry Potter and Magical Capitalism in Urban China." And finally, I would like to thank those students of mine who have spent the last 10 years trying to convince me that Harry Potter was worthy of consideration.

All text and photographs are my own (with the exception of the one listed below) and are copyrighted by Jonathan F. Henderson, 2007.
